Stam appears to have snuck in there twice. Put Riccardo Carvalho on the bench then.

speaking of which:
Seaman
Neville
Adams
Campbell
Cole
Beckham
Scholes
Gerrard
Shearer
Cole
Fowler
was tempted to stick Gazza or Robson in and go 4-4-2, but that'd be cheating really.
Bench:
Martyn, Ferdinand, Pearce, Sheringham, Wright.
Could do with some decent midfielders tbh.

| The "Best" category so clearly a Arsenal/man U contest.
And as a Gunner I agree with your picks but they are closely contested by Ronaldo and Cantona.
Best XI???

GK Schmeichel (Someone said undisputed, well he really is. Seaman and Cech needs mentioning but Schmikes just meant soo much)DR Neville (Hate the guy but there really is no contest)DL Cole (Not much to say really)CB Stam (Could possibly be switched for Ferdinand)CB Cambell (At his prime but still only slightly over Adams)MR Pires (Bobby was soo great, extra kudos for the hate he instilled in other fans Ronaldo mentioned for same reasons)ML Giggs (Only reason why Bobby ended up on the right in my XI, also closely contested by Overmars)MC Viera (All action box-to-box, just a legend)MC Scholes (Closely contested by Keane but creativity wins it)ST Henry (Do I really need to say why??? Only options are Drogba or Shearer for being kick-ass goal threats)ST Cantona (Pure genius, with an evil streak. Could be switched with the genius of Bergkamp)

| all the creativity of Graham Taylor's England there, impressive.
cba doing a team myself, would basically all be United bar a couple so little point. was almost inclined to push myself to be overly unbiased and cram the likes of Adams and Vieira in ahead of Stam and Scholes but balls to it.
Ronaldo the best now ofc. Cesc will be on a par soon enough, assuming he doesn't head back to Spain in the next couple of years.

I agree. Shearer was great but he'd still be 5th or 6th choice for striker in an all time team.

i'll do a team with no United players actually, could be interesting. for me at least.
Seaman
Petrescu
Adams
Desailly
A Cole
Pires
Vieira
Essien
Overmars
Bergkamp
Henry
basically Arsenal with a smattering of Chelsea. not that interesting at all really. don't think it's particularly biased to suggest there's not a Liverpool player worthy of replacing anywhere there. Gerrard came closest. Hyppia at his best might scrape onto the bench, if it's a 7-man one.
