Best: Fabregas. No longer an 'unproven featherweight.'
All Time: Cantona. Like Zola, the type of player that makes you fall in love with the game.
Did not see a lot of him until youtube, but that is pretty much how Shearer impacted on me back then. As an o/s observer trying to understand, he just made you smile.
Best - Cech (pound for pound the best player for overall contribution to the team)
Underrated - Giggs
Overrated - Lampard
Potential - Fabregas
All Time - Schmeichal

As a (terrible) winger when I started playing, it was Kanchelskis and Giggs who I first idolised. Whilst I can understand someone being captivated by great finishing ability, I've always preferred players who can take people on, or those like Cantona who have the total ability to pull off the unexpected any time they're given the ball (but I feel like I'm just quoting one of his interviews now).

Right. My first instinct was the Shearer type player. But as I watched, it became Becks (his freaking foot) and Keane (leadership, grit, iron will) that I was drawn to as favorites. Still, the class of Shearer and Henry is impossible for me to overlook in the final analysis.
