Yes. Capello, I'd be happy because I'd know there'd be a sense of urgency. Van Gaal, I'd be happy because I'd know the system was going to be king and not the players. Mourinho, I'd be happy because the players would be willing to open arteries for him, and the team would be ruthlessly organised.
Any of those three, fine. Alan Shearer, not so fine.

I think he's waiting for one of the Milan clubs to come calling. Maybe his statement about England is a veiled threat to a potential suitor.
I'll be surprised if he seriously goes for it, after all he's said in the past.

Mourinho is ideal for the England job. He'll be able to handle the media side of things easily and turn any pressure back on them and not let it get to him or the team.
Hopefully the FA will do a Scolari with this one |

| i agree, i think he's much more suited to the wheel and deal game...plus like McClaren i don't think he'd have the likes of Gerrards ear/respect
