You forgot to half the circumference for the Pole-Pole question though.
Surprisingly the difference in circumferences isn't that big:
Equator = 24,901.55 miles (40,075.16 km)
Longitude= 24,859.82 miles (40,008 km) </BLOCKQUOTE>
Wouldn't that mean that the Earth is almost a perfect sphere if the Equator and Longitude were so close in distance? I don't get this

This gives a slightly different number, but both circumferences are still way closer than I would have ever thought
