American Universities Questions *Sponsored by Andy Jordan*
Here's the deal, my sister has the opportunity to transfer to 2 American Universities (and several others in the rest of the world).
She would be transfering through a French program so cost isn't an issue (anything above 300 Euros the French government will pay for)
She is a business major (she's still considering several majors so suggest away) and would take MBA classes for just 1 semester.
The 2 Universities she could go to are:
- Case Western Reserve University. Weatherhead school of management
- University of Florida. Warrington College of business Administration
First of all I'd like to know what you guys think of these Universities since I had never heard of them before.
Is it worth it or should she avoid them and go to another country?
Which one of these 2 would you recommend, what major and why?
What are the cities around these Universities like?

She just sent me another e-mail saying that if she goes to Florida she would most likely take classes in one of these 2 programs:
- MA in International Business (MAIB) Link
- M in science Management (MSM) Link

I looked at neither of them personally, so my information will be second-hand and of lesser quality.
that being said, neither Case nor Florida are in exactly hopping college towns. if I had to take guess, I'd say that Case's b-school is better, but that could be incorrect.
if she wants to come to the States, those are solid options, but I wouldn't be chomping at the bit to go to either.

Tell her to be careful not to become the subject or a rather juvenile prank between the "frat boys" to make her popular and take her to the Prom purely to win a guy's, manly bet for men only for that self same japester to actually fall in love with her ...

you're confusing high school with college.

Thanks Andy
She's not really the biggest fan of America in general but comes here to visit me about once a year (especially when I buy her a plane ticket as her birthday present so she's not really blocked on the idea of coming here. She's an excellent student in France (equivalent of Valedictorian in an Ivy League school pretty much) so I wouldn't want to advise her to go to one of these if they're not really good, especially since she can go to a few others in the world.
