The BIGGER and BETTER GPRO Season 6 Thread - JOIN NOW
Season 5 of GPRO has come and gone, with a number of the OTF gang clinching promotion to Master, with many more retaining, or achieving, a place in the Amateur ranks for Season 6.
There is a super-secret, special OTF GPRO Forum here, which offers, amongst other goodies, a fantabulous Newbies Guide to GPRO, essential reading for newcomers and veterans alike. We also like to use the thread to share our experiences and discuss options for upcoming races. It is in short an essential part of the OTF GPRO experience.
GPRO and it's admins would like you to read the Rules and FAQ upon signup. They'll help you get to know the game, and if you want a little more money, there's a Certification Test based on them at the site.
As a wise man once said, "Grand Prix Racing Online is a web based motor sport management game, where you get to control and influence a team of your own. Sign drivers, technical directors, and staff. Negotiate with sponsors, and other managers to form teams. Set up your car for qualifying and the race, and set your strategy in order to become the best manager and win the Elite group title."
No doubt as people sign up and promote the names, faces and groups will change. There is a comprehensive list at the OTF Forum, but feel free to add yourself to the list which will be posted here following the reset.
How often do you need to log on? How much time a day/week does it take to play properly? What do you do? Tweaking car settings not for me, however otherwise it could be good.

There are two races a week - starting at 7pm uk time on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Prior to 5.30pm each race day you need to:
upgrade car parts as necessary
Qualify
Set your race strategy.
This can all be done in circa 15 minutes.
Additionally you may consider:
going testing
negotiating with sponsors
Getting a better driver / facilities.
So, it can be done in some 30 minutes a week...although to do it well will take a bit more of an effort getting to understand the game.
