nah if u pass it u get an extra 5 mil to start the season, i failed it 4 times so gave up seeing if u don't pass it within 3 times u get nothing

Wow, looking at Gordon's list and thinking he has lost it i looked at the rookie market and its downright insane. Hardly anyone is under 1million thats any good really.

Slight correction required here.

If you complete the test in the first 3 attempts and before you've raced 17 races, then you will recieve a financial bonus.

1st attempt: $3 million
2nd attempt: $2 million
£rd attempt: £1 million

You don't have to do it. I just did it once when I was bored.

It always has been & always will be (unless they change something dramatically).

Dont be fooled by high wages & lots of offers being made.

Most rookies dont know what a good driver looks like and what a reasonable wage for him would be. They think that paying 4 or 5 Million will guarentee promtion and all that happens is they are in debt halfway through the season and cant afford to have a car that runs.

By getting a decent driver for a cheap price that allows you to control your money and also gives you the out of changing driver halfway through the season who will get you promoted.

I was under the impression that all your parts belonged to you after a season reset and you could downgrade to them later on. Looking at the update car page it seems like you have to pay to replace them? Is that right

The whole parts thing is a bit misleading.

You start the season with your parts at whichever level (when not in Rookie) with 0% wear.

The downgrading thing is not changing to an older part from a lower level. It is effectively fixing your current part a little so that it works like a part at a lower level.

Say you have a level 5 engine and have 30% wear on it.

You can either keep that part or you can fix/downgrade it to a level 4 part with say 25% wear, or level 3 with 20% wear etc.

Forgot to add at the start of that, you dont keep a stock of old parts just the one you have now.

No, on the car upgrade page you have the option to buy new parts (0% wear) at any level up to 1 higher than your current level.

Under that you have the option (In red?) to downgrade the part for free and it shows the level of wear on the part if you downgrade it.
