But the overall level of the CL increased since 1998 which is why it doesn't need addressing imo
Yes but the important thing is we get more smaller team who'll get thrashed 7 and 8 nil because the magical CL fairy dust will make them good.

This is easy, just make them play against each other in the qualifying rounds. </BLOCKQUOTE>

3rd team in EPL should play 3rd team in Spain you mean?
And on the other hand have teams from Latvia and Andorra facing off to get a spot.
No thanks, I'd much rather have both the Spanish and the English team in. </BLOCKQUOTE>

We would have more teams from Eastern Europe and from the Balkans instead of the same teams season after season. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Yeah, lets ban Brazil, from the next world cup and <STRIKE>put</STRIKE> shove Peru in there next time, kick Italy out and put in Moldova, dont want the same teams in it all the time. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Yeah, like the World Cup qualifications are as stupidly biased as the Champions League ones.. The South American, for example, is just a big league with all Conmebol countries playing each other twice, with the best ones going to the World Cup.

Them getting thrashed 7 and 8 nil means that something is wrong with the current football regulations.

Yes but half of the teams come from Europe, so it is baised.

Mon New Zealand and India in the next world cup at the expence of France FTW.

Europe has what 16 countries qualified (or so) out of 60 or something ridiculous like that. Then North America has 2 countries qualified (3 this time around iirc)

So North American teams have better odds of making it than European teams...

No it means that these teams shouldn't be playing against the big teams just because they're not good enough and allowing them to play CL games every year is only gonna make the CL weaker instead of making them stronger.

True, UEFA should make it the law that Turkish and Czech leagues are attracktive to play in and give those two clubs a big history so all the players will want to go there, and also forcing the Turkish TV channel to pay £11b for the TV domestic rights.
