Absolutely </BLOCKQUOTE>

To which bit? You can't deny the second part of his statement is true </BLOCKQUOTE>

First of all yes, I could disagree with his statement but let's assume it's a fact.

So what? I don't care if crappy teams get crappier. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Let hope it's your team that doesn't get crap and then crappier! </BLOCKQUOTE>

My team was super crappy as I was growing up and it got better and better since the CL is the way it is today and it isn't in one of the top 3 leagues.
Which proves that you can go from top to bottom but that the opposite is possible too, hence it's these teams fault if they get crappy and then crappier, not the CL's.

Who's fault is that? Why should the CL make up for the difference?

Jon actually has a point here, and I agree that the way the money is devided should be changed. But you know what? It isn't team or G14 related. It is because of UEFA thinking that internal competition in smaller leagues would be seriously harmed by awarding an equal part of the CL money.

I'm not sure they are right but even if I'd like to divide the money equal as that would make small leagues champions more competitive in europe.

It's not about the CL making up the difference, it's about UEFA awarding less to smaller leagues for the same result.

You're talking about results on the pitch here, not in the books, right?
What I mean is that a group match involving Real Madrid will have a much higher TV rating than a match involving Dinamo Kiev hence it will increase the TV rights hence give more money to UEFA hence it's only normal that Real Madrid gets more money at the end.

It's like saying that a player had a better match than another but wasn't paid as much this week although he did a better job. True, but you have to look further.

What I mean is that the money isn't divided on what team or what the ratings are but instead it's a default "more for big leagues and less for small leagues" thing going on.
