Know it's not actually an ipod but it's nearest i could find to an mp3 player thread.
Has anyone got one of these Archos things ? quite like the look of them but don't know anyone with one.
What kind of battery life do you get from them and are they any good ?

Archos 605 are suposed to be very good and the best multimedia player on the market according to T3 and the other gadget magazine.
I am thinking of getting one of thse myself for £173 but got my heart is set on the ipod touch to be honest even though it has a smaller hard drive. I have seen the ipod touch for £230 16Gb which is best price i have seen.

battery lasts 4.5 hours by the way unless you have the wireless connection on as it uses the battery a lot more.

though I've not used the video yet, or most things tbh, if anyone can tell me how to use the diary/calendar thing that would be great. Can't be arsed finding the instructions assuming I've got them with me.

Reason 704 is cheap is because 705 and 605 are the latest models. I dont really know much about them so this might help you. http://www.avforums.com/forums/searc...rchid=11782850 |
