amsterdam is lovely place.
visit anne franks house
the art museums
visit the biggest cafe called the grasshopper.
go a bit out of town and hire a bike and just ride out in the countryside along the canalas and windmils.
go to a soccer game there.
eat lots of cheese.

Buy the smokers guide to amsterdam off amazon it'll tell you all the best places to go plus it has vouchers in for food and stuff. The map in it is pretty good too. Go to the hineken brewery, its quite cheap to get in and you get 3 beers in the price, when i went you got a free beer glass too.

Amsterdam is good for visitors and for tourists. The people have to look around though.

I love Amsterdam. Great when you go with a good bunch of mates. The beer, the cafe's

and the tremendous people.

Amsterdam is overrated, but you can have a good time there

Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein for nightlife.
I'd simpyl suggest walking around a lot, from Central Station towards the Dam has lots of fun stuff too (if you're a tourist) or follow the Spui and eventually move along to the Prinsengracht and over to the Leidseplein

Visit De Wallen (Nieuwmarkt) for as long as they're still there...

Sexmuseum, Torture museum, Tattoo museum, all good for a laugh

Anne Frank huis, Van Gogh museum if you're up for something more tourist-y.

I can't recommend this highly enough. Train stops you right outside the station, think the stop is BiljmerArena or something?

You're allowed right next to the pitch, in the dugout, and it's cheap as you like. English tour guide as well :thup:

Bijlmer Arena it is. About 15 minutes from Centraal Station by train of subway (metro).
