aren't they just? I was walking back on my own at about 6 in the morning (just after someone tried to knife me) and this guy was like "do you want a sweater?" and it literally took me a couple of minutes of constantly declining for him to give in.

one guy, after laughing at how far away from my hostel I was, even offered to pay for half of my taxi. pity I'd lost the piece of paper that I wrote it down on.

took 3 and a half hours to get back, should have taken 20 minutes

still - I saw a lot of amsterdam that night.

Oh, so THAT'S Banana Bar. We got involved in one of the skits there involving a banana - was a good laugh. Also remember a couple going at it on stage with Jaheim-Just In Case playing in the background, hearing that song was never quite the same afterwards for us.

when we went to the van goth gallery I think we booked tickets, but it didnt seem like we realy needed to. But I did go when it opened, at like 10am. I went around th 10th of december aswel, a couple of years back, so should be simular.

The square its on is realy nice, had an ice rink on and felt realy christmasy, if you like that kinda thing.

Mardy; yes, but you'll need to go to the Post Office with your forms & ID tomorrow and pay top wack for the superfast service.

When I was in the dam at this time of year a while back we just walked into the Van Gogh with no queue problem at all. It's near Vondelspark iirc, which is also cool.
