As the Offies have been cancelled due to lack of interest…is the general opinion of OTF that we should have BOTU 8 (probably) now, or save it for the new year?
Last year’s attempt to impede the mediocre with the deft use of advanced electoral techniques saw Daaaaave victorious and Mika in the final…so mixed success then.
I’d be tempted to re-use that this year though…certainly in the middle / latter rounds the groups produced more interesting results than straight 1v1.
We should start soon and culminate Christmas time. While I think the voting system did work well last time, Botu, like Rafa's first XI, is always changing.
