Uefa told of match-fixing claims
Quote:
Uefa has been handed a 96-page report by Interpol alleging that 15 games in a variety of competitions were fixed.
The matches are thought to have been qualifiers for Euro 2008, the Champions League and Intertoto Cup.
BBC Sport's Nigel Adderley reports that Uefa has confirmed an investigation is taking place into the matches, which do not go further back than July 2005.
The news comes as Uefa officials are gathering in Lucerne for Sunday's Euro 2008 finals draw

It's not just Euro 2008 qualifiers. Could be the Champions League or Intertoto games that were back in July 2005.

Accused Italy a few months ago of trying to fix international matches, mainly at Under 21 level though iirc. I will try and find a link of sorts.

Made comments about some Italian national games being fixed. UEFA fined him and banned him for a game.

Its more likely to be the lesser known teams that could do with a large amount of cash and would be willing to do it.
