I'm playing at regular level at the moment, I'm quite comfortable with the gameplay, formation is the same as last PES so I know vaguely where the players will be, where the runs are coming from etc, did an international challenege and here's what happend:

(Was fortunate in the Bulgaria game but against Israel I couldn't break down their weird 5-2-2-1 formation /o\)

(Second half was far easier, Bulgaria fell to pieces against me and I was down to ten men against N.Ireland :thup: )

(Was 2-0 up at Ivory coast and let a sloppy goal in, should have beat them by more tbh, Portugal, well, old C.Ronaldo got one of my players booked, then got booked himself for a tackle, Rooney scored, they equalised, and late on, 88th min? they had a centre back sent off for HACKING me down when clean through, dirty bastards. Mexico I came from behind when super sub SHERINGHAM came off the bench to set up the equaliser, he's still got the magic :*)

Second round
England 2-1 South Korea
(I took the lead, they had a fortunate equaliser when I should have been a few up, then it was really even till I scored the winner, and as they pushed up I battered them some more but didn't score!)

Quarter final
England 0-1 Croatia
(Bastard ****faces, they packed the midfield and made it tricky, Defoe blasted so so many chances over the bar, and their goal came from the THIRD rebound, shot saved, rebound hit against the post, rebound again in off Robinson, my defenders were chilling watching events unfold :*( and despite late chances even Walcott and Teddy couldn't save me

So, as England, cruise through qualifying with the odd tricky game, building media hype through the group stage, drawing with Portugal in a dirty game with a sending off, and then out in the quarter finals. Not liking the realism :thdn:

Passing does seem to be slow if you look at it, but, in context with the games I play I rarely notice it tbh, only a couple of times it's annoying that a pass is intercepted because it's been hit unrealistically but **** happens.

I like the way tackles, and when players 'collide' seem more 50-50 now, headers are improved, movement is a bit better, but I'm finding it beter with general dribbling too.

Overall I'm starting to like it, although in some games (i.e. my 6-1 Bulgaria DEMOLITION) I scored the same goal 3 times it became so easy, whereas if I'm facing even slightly diagonal to the goal and barely grace the square button it flys unrealistically over the bar.

Bar that it's impressive so far.

arsenal are realistic enough. i dont think i have won a single header in the oppositions box as of yet.
not too keen on the fact that every chipped through ball the computer plays splits my defence and leaves their forward with a one on one. didnt happen enough on PES5 now it happens a bit too much. still, quality game, even though im struggling to score

I've been an idiot. I kept thinking the dribbling system was like PES5's so kept trying to knock the ball past a player a run after it. I was wondering why none of the world-class wingers I was using were getting past average full-backs. All I have to do is release the R1 button and use the D-pad to skip past them.

I think the passing is great in it actually, lot better than the last version. Oh and I love how they've fixed the shooting with R2 outside the box now - can now do those Hnery style shots from there.

Not that impressed with the game tbh. Got it on Friday & not been playing it very much (around 15 games prob) & already finding it far too easy.

On the hardest setting, Spanish league, Barca, 10 mins & winning most games 4/5-0!!!! Already!?!? What's worse is there doesn't seem to be an option to buy a harder level this time.

Only really one thing that's annoying me & that's that the GKs are a tad too bad. I mean 90% of the time they couldn't catch a cold let alone a tame shot from outside the box - this means that a good % of goals scored are rebounds which makes for very high scoring games indeed.

Also does any-one know of somewhere where I can find out what the correct team/player/stadium names should be?

How do you shoot? Most of my shots fly over the bar!!!

I love the passing also, I'm now able to play a quick passing game :thup:

Also agree with the shots. I've scored a couple of beuaties from outside the box. Got 3 goals on the memory card already :cool:
