In game play looks promising so far. Both that and the graphics are an improvement, as is the AI. As for the layout, menus, formations and editing. Hmm. Methinks they may have regressed a little. Seems a little cramped, and a little long-winded to do tactics but ehh, will get used to it. Need an update though.

On first impressions would people say it's worth ditching PES 5 for?

Seems to be pretty good, although it doesn't look all that next gen.

However, from what I've seen of the online play it's rubbish. Lagged up like a bastard, but there doesn't seem to be any way to invite a friend to a game, no lobbies and no way to replay with the same opponent after a match. Unless I'm being a mong.

I'll be on PS2 anyway so not expecting it to be next-genified

Yeah sorry, should have mentioned I'm using the 360 version. I can't speak for the PS2 version, but I imagine it's better.

Still playing WE10 at the moment, in no hurry to get this until i'm proved that the gameplay is different.

PS2 version is good. However, I have no desire to play it at the moment with the completely out of date national and club squads .

Must wait for a data update...(and a delivered max drive, bah).
