Default Can you go to A&E with bad toothache?

My partner has really bad toothache. She went to the dentist in midweek and the earliest emergency dental appointment was 19th Dec.

Of course it has gotten worse and the painkillers (headex) she has taken are having no effect.

Is this the sort of this I can take her to A&E for?

Something like that.

Although I did ring NHS Direct first (too busy)

and tried a wide variety of websites (useless)

deep down I knew this was the best place to come.

Why does it matter how much the Headex cost?
