Really? - just for a filling?
Do you have to pay? Otherwise I don't understand why anyone pays for non-cosmetic dental treatment.
My old dentist turned private when I was away at university - unfortunately the only remaining nhs dentist in the area had a waiting list of ~5,000 people so I didn't get to see a dentist for nearly 5 years!
I eventually took my heavily tea-stained teeth and layers of scale 35 miles to a next-day appointment at the nearest 'hospital dental surgery' (A&E equivalent I think) where I was told: "Yeah they're in a pretty bad state, you need to enrol with a dentist. Oh by the waay your wisdom tooth is decaying."
wtf! They didn't do a thing!
