When i refused to go to the dentist a few years ago i took those nerofen liquid ones, took a pin squeezed the liquid stuff onto my gums.
Tasets revolting and you will boak, but took the pain away for an hour or so.

Think im going to have to have my wisdom tooth out soon. Filling fell oout so ive got a hole in my tooth now, although doesnt hurt yet so she left it until my next inspection. Shes almost certain it will decay

Headex was just what she had - I thought it a bit odd when she told me she had been taking those, she reckons they were working so they were a nice placebo.

Went to the pharmacy at Tescos and got some ibuprophen.

She took it about half an hour ago but they have had no effect.

They do have on call dentists based at some A&E depts iirc but it might mean travelling 30 or 40 miles to the one they are at.

Solpadeine (the ones with codeine, which are the Max veriety I believe) are a better bet.

Got me facts wrong there. Apparently the dentist said all it needed was a filling and that was the earliest appointment. Some dentist.

And the pills are kicking in. \o/
