this thread is going to die on its arse pretty quickly if it's relying on British success to scrape together a few replies.

Well done Greg. Hardly the most testing field, but a tournament win is always welcome.

Men's tennis is going through a bit of the same thing that women's tennis was going through a few years ago when the Williams sisters were winning everything.
Although, the diffrence is that no one hates Federer since he's so graceful and complete as a player that you can't do anything but marvel at his greatness compared to the Williams sisters who just used their power to win matches.
unless the greatest talent in the world is hiding somewhere, Roger Federer is going to rule the world of tennis for years to come, and I for one can't wait to see it unfold |

I dont like how the Williams get criticized(sp?) I mean what are they supposed to do. Venus to Serena "I think we should stop playing to our strengths as nobody likes us winning that way".
Bollox tbh.

Rep Power: 0 | Rusedski wins but Roddick falls
Greg Rusedski came from a set behind to beat second seed Nicolas Kiefer 3-6 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 and reach the semi-finals of the RCA Championships in Indianapolis.
Rusedski will play fourth seed Taylor Dent in the semi-finals after the American beat Paul Goldstein 6-3 6-2.
But two-time defending champion Andy Roddick went out at the hands of fellow American Robby Ginepri.
World number 98 Ginepri saved two match points on the way to a 4-6 7-6 (7-2) 7-5 victory over the top seed.
Ginepri will play 10th seed Karol Beck, who beat George Bastl 6-4 7-5 (7-4).
Rusedski is looking for his second consecutive title in America after successfully defending his Hall of Championships crown in Rhode Island earlier this month.
The 31-year-old struggled with his serve, totting up 16 double faults, but showed real determination to finally overhaul Kiefer.
The German, runner-up here last year, broke Rusedski in the eighth game to take the first set.
The players swapped serve in the second set before the Briton clinched the tiebreak.
The British number two then raced to a 4-0 lead in the decider and although Kiefer broke back once, Rusedski held his nerve to serve out for victory.
Fourth seed Dent looked impressive in his quarter-final win but Rusedski has beaten him both times they have previously met.
"Everyone in the semis is playing well and everyone has a chance to win," said Rusedski.
"But I'm happy with my experience and think it will help me get through. I am feeling confident with the way I am playing."
Roddick had never lost in Indianapolis and had a 6-0 record against Ginepri but came unstuck in a match lasting just over two hours.
The Wimbledon finalist, who clashed with the umpire over a disputed Ginepri ace, admitted that he had felt flat.
"He wanted it more - I didn't come ready to play," he said.
Greg's really picked up his game lately, continuing to rise up through the top 100, could he possibly win 2 in a row? Come on Greg
