Once upon a time, a man named Tony Robertson (i think) posted something about his friends' band, who were named nosferatu d2. I looked at their myspace page and thought they were one of the best bands i had heard in a million years.
Meanwhile, my band recorded some songs and put them on a myspace page. I'm quite shamelessly whoreing us now. I'm not going to pretend otherwise. There's no great reason for you to go and listen to us, but maybe if you are bored you could do.
If you need any extra incentive, there are 3 girls in the band. And i know how much you all love girls. Exactly.
Truly awesome, the sort of band John Peel would get over excited about.
You guys have a record deal right?
Digging those influences, actually need to check out The Unicorns arebn't they the band that have now watered down into Islands? I could be wrong.
And you've all got the same surname, glad to see the ethos of the Ramones continues!
no we don't have a record deal. nowhere near in fact. we're just lazy students.
Islands are indeed one of the offshoot bands of The Unicorns, and though very awesome I think the Unicorns were the better band, so you should definitely check them out.
We'll say it's half a Ramones ethos and half a Donnas ethos.
We've made the songs downloadable now, because some people on other message boards were being super nice. So please feel free to download them. Thank you. Lots.
no, i never did. i've never contacted them at all, due to fear i would be too sycophantic. but if they did want a gig in wales then send them in my direction and we could sort it out no problem for september time.

Yeah, after a couple of tracks, it's definitely the sort of thing I aim to write. The female/male singing clash is awesome.
It's interesting, it's upbeat, distortion isn't over-used. We need more bands with these ideas.

Just emailed Ben your myspace link anyway. Erm yeah he will probably take the mick slightly when he finds out how I found about about your band. But oh well
