Since this band is going to be my band of the week, I would just like to link everyone (without taking glory from Los Campesinos!) to the best new British band from last week. This Town Needs Guns
Just singed to one of the best labels, Big Scary Monsters and sounds like Biffy Clyro mixed with old school american indie/emo bands like Sunny Day Real Estate/American Football.

| thanks a lot mate, it means a lot to hear nice things. we're not actually welsh though, just all studying at cardiff uni. we are 6/7 english and 1/7 russian. cardiff does have an awesome music scene right now. if you check out 4 of the bands in our top 8, they are all friends of ours and doing different, exciting things.

| I've saw them in Oxford a few months ago (with Sky Blue Tom of here actually)
They supported Frank Turner and Dive Dive, seemed alright, though we weren't paying much attention.

Oh stop it Tony, I was really buzzing to them last week.
Frank Turner this friday...plus ive just noticed that Shut Your Eyes And You'll Burst Into Flames are playing in Leicester at the start of August :thup:

Yeah make sure you see Shut Your Eyes they really are quite brilliant. Playing in Shoreditch in August which I'm going to. Its the same night my mates have enquired about playing. Would be pretty awesome if they got on the same bill.
Can't remember if I ever told you, but check out "Blood Red Shoes". Saw them play at the same venue as Shutyoureyes are playing, when my mate wanted to check the venue out. They were really amazing. Video here. Watch it, its awesome :thup:

Have to say im very impressed, summery type music, its pretty good!
