First half was crap, really feared another United-type raping. Arsenal were excellent, passing and movement-wise they were better than United were when they came here. We started far too deep, scored against the run of play and then sat deep again and dropped off completely and gave excellent players time and space to run rings around us. He's not been brilliant for us, but we missed Reo-Coker today - especially in that opening half.
Second half was better, much better. We defended higher up the pitch and the midfield moved more than 6 yards away from the defence. Carew was superb - caused endless problems for Toure and Gallas - and was unlucky to hit the bar after that awful air shot. I suppose we deserved a point, but I didnt really think we created any clear chances although I dont really think Arsenal did either apart from their goals.
Pleased with the effort and the fight in the second half, wasnt enough in the end but on another day we'd have perhaps nicked a point. Maybe try putting our striker up front and our winger on the wing next time Martin, rather than the other way around.
