I've got quite a few songs from the Itunes store which all play fine on my iPod. However i bought a song the other day and wihlst it plays fine in iTunes it doesn't play on my iPod.

I've tried deleting it from itunues and re-adding it, and then re-synching it with my ipod but it didn't make any difference.

Any ideas, or has anybody had this problem before?

have you tried resetting/restoring your ipod ( what type of ipod is it? )

no, was trying to leave that as a lsat option. it's a 5G 80Gb

is the song selectable from your ipod?

yep, when i select it, looks like it will play but then it skips straight to the next song in the list.

DRM I think. Try burning it , then re ripping it.

yeah that will probably work, fwiw i'm restoring now, will probably be about another hour, i don't have any blank cd's here anyway, but might pick up some midweek as i could do with some anyway.

when you're in itunes check to see if the song is ticked in the ipod section, if it is unticked it wont play iirc
