I'm liking Cipriani every time I see him. If he plays to the form he's at now for the next three months, then surely we need to find a place for him in the England team.
Not sure where though? He's not going to get the fly half gig yet without several injuries. He's played fullback - Pickles, you seemeed to be intimating above that you wouldn't want to see him there?
Inside centre? We're not exactly blessed with options there. We could develop him there for a season or two and then move him to FH, Dan Carter-style. Or Wilkinson gets injured after 15 seconds and he ends up at 10 anyway...

Seriously he looks like a decent option despite having spend only half a year there. His balance and pace are amazing and his confidence in running the ball is awesome. He will take any oppourtunity no matter what the odds look like to run with it and will almost always beat the first man and gain good yards.

I've been majorly impressed by Foden at fb this season, he's had some awesome games for Sale. Problem is he (and most Sale fans) seem to see his future at scrum-half, whereas PSA seems to prefer him at fb or on the wing, thus you get the constant rumours about him leaving.
Only seen him at scrum half a couple of times & neither did he massively stand out, so I don't see him displacing Lilo or Wigglesworth there any time soon.
Wouldn't want to see Cipriani at fb for England and there's quite a list ahead of him at fly-half (Wilkinson, Flood, Geraghty - who everyone seems to have forgotten - and potentially Hodgson, though sadly I think is England days are over so we'll just have to keep him all to ourselves at Sale  ), but he is the sort of player who should be in the full England set up ASAP. Where he fits in though I'm not sure.
Oh, and who is actually playing for the Ba-Baas this weekend?

When it comes to England I'd only really want people playing in positions where they play regularly for their clubs. i.e. Cipriani at Fly half, which he's obviously not experienced enough for yet. Give him a couple of years and that no. 10 shirt's his.
The Wasps backs are looking tasty atm

Reddan Cipriani Flutey WatersVoyce Sackey van Gisbergen

We've still got Lewsey to come back too, but can't honestly see him fitting in the way the players above are performing.
Couple of tests in December with the double header against Clermount in the Heineken Cup and Bath at home in the League. Will show if they're really up to it or not.

Flutey's someone I'd like to see called into the England set up. Thing he's eligble for citizenship either already or sometime soon and there was an interview with him while he was at London Irish saying he's seriously consider it.
Get him and Vainikolo in now dammit.

Sheridan won't be playing in that, Sale are playing Leicester in the EDF on Friday.
Similarly can't see some of the Welsh clubs players taking part, several teams still got a chance of qualifying in the EDF.
Completely laughable to have arranged this game without consulting (or at least agreeing) with the Premiership clubs to release their players.
Nice to see the unattached Robbo, Cohen and Cockbain getting a run out too, would have thought for the latter two it'll be a good chance to put themselves in the shop window.

It'll be Robinson's last game at HQ won't it as he's retired. I was there for Leonard's last game when he played for the Barbars vs England and scored the first try Suspiciously weak defending for that brief second whilst he had the ball 5 metres out there was
Looking forward to getting mullered with a load of Saffas. They were pretty  in paris

I didn't just make up a list of names, that's the 22 that was announced a couple of hours ago. Premier Rugby asked the English clubs not to release any players, but Sheridan and Regan appear to have been. Regan will captain the side, btw.
