Not going to die, just need to make sure the cable leading from your monitor and your PC is in securely and properly IIRC.

it only seems to happen when I tilt the monitor up or down. might be a connection inside, I suppose.

if I wanted to buy a new monitor, what should I get? this is one of those flat lcd monitors. they're not very good for games, are they?

I know when I play my PS2 through my monitor it's often dark and a bit blurry. and now a bit blue.

Rear Blue connector almost certain. I had to wedge my lead into a certain position to stop this. Or I could buy a new monitor. Not going to happen tbh.

I remember getting banned from the IT room for turning every single display on the 30 odd computers upside down, and then turning the monitors themselves upside down too so they were in essence the right way up.

Cable's loose, just unplug it and plug it back in and you should be fine.
