I find it difficult to understand why so many people want McLeish in charge of Scotland when the huge majority ridiculed and were dismissive of him as a manager when he was at Rangers.

His tactics or lack of them, and his continued trend of playing people out of position were straight from the Bertie Vogts era and some want a return to that? Never.
