You brought up flair players should be especially protected, not me. Not even relevant to the Ronaldo issue, but it's still not right. All players should be protected. Not, especially flair players.

he has on the odd occasion highlighted attempts to kick him out of a game, and as i've already stated, fair play to him. would have said the same thing if Mikel had done likewise (assuming he had a case, haven't seen the game, highlights suggested he gave more than as good as he got but the BBC are never the most even-handed editors).
Where's the need? It needs to be highlighted to the people that can change it. Not the people who will watch his interview/read it in the mirror and start banging on about victimisation. That was the only thing I have actually been trying to say about it. There's no need for it to be broadcast to the masses.

:bangingheadagainstthewallsmiley:

all players should be protected. i said that, check if you like. referees should especially look to protect flair/creative/skilful/whatever word you want (you either know what i mean and you're being deliberately pedantic or you're just being dim) as they are the ones who get targeted for special treatment.

geez, this really isn't rocket surgery.

not arsed if there's a need or not. he's every right to say it, which is all i've said all along. if you remember, this was all in response to a claim that Ronaldo 'claims no-one should ever tackle him'.

What I couldnt believe about this game was how poor Kaboul was. Isn't he the U21 france captain? or was, and he seems to be messing up at every opportunity.

Spurs' defence on paper is pretty decent, and Robinson was decent until this crazy season he's having. I know the team is full of idiots, but west ham have more and they are doing well.

Yeah and then you started disagreeing with me for saying there was no need for him to say what he did, and now you're not arsed if there's a need or not.

What did they do? All i saw on MOTD was a tackle from behind he should have been sent off for. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Fouls on him alone well into double figures. They tried to kick him out of the game because he can so often run it for us.

</BLOCKQUOTE>

By 'well into double figures', you mean five, if we include the one where Boa Morte beat him, Mikkel fouled him and Boa Morte was booked? Ok...

Dodgy Pen, Dodgy Red and a last minute winner.

Sums up Eck, without doubt the luckiest manager in the world. Ever.

God knows where you got double figures from tbf. And the worst challenge on him was an absolute nothing block tackle from Boa Morte.
