You can chooose line/length, whether to bowl over/around the wicket, move fielders where you desire. As eric says just click on the bowlers name to get more detailed tactics. The reason its set out like that is simply because we don't want the main match screen to be overwhelming for casual fans but still want to offer in-depth captaincy options for hardcore fans...

I'm currently 1154 for 5. Owais Shah is on 424 runs. After 394 from Joyce, 197 from Compton and 157 from Godleman. I'm backing Shah to get 501...

I'd like some more options on the game screen, maybe not fielding, but bowling over/around the wicket like in ICC, and possibly line and length.
Is there a way you can just click for each over rather than having to pick a speed and pause it to make changes?

i'm guessing it's not exactly 100% realistic and bug free? ah well, not like they're charging money for it.

for a tenner it's pretty decent. Feels much more involved than ICC, even if the match engine needs tweaking.

| Almost wet myself at that joke. Most people seem to be enjoying it, I find it fun to play, if you don't like it fine but please don't try and be a comedian ('cos I wouldn't pay to see that if the above joke is your best material).
Jeff - can you do me a favour and see if the pitch conditions have red crosses? This seems to be skewing results and making it ludicrously easy for batting (otherwise scores are generally fine I think).

what do the red crosses mean?
it would be helpful if when you moved the cursor over the pitch conditions it said what they were, rather than having to change to the display pitch conditions view etc.

They basically mean, "Oh no, something has gone wrong and the pitch conditions have been mangled, quick try and tell someone and recover...".
We'll aim to clear that with the patch.
