Okay i am up at almost 4 in the morning. Been playing this game on ps3 since midnight.

Graphically, this is a superb game. The horse riding bits makes the horse riding in oblivion look like a carousel. Great lighting and shadows. 1 framerate drop in over 3 hrs play. it was an almost missable 1 as well.

The mechanics are great, especially when you kill a guard on the street. You dont feel as in control in the free running or climbing.

Gameplay is okay, i can see where the repetitive jibes come from. The game does not feel as free and open as GTA or other sandboxes.

The feel of the menu and the concept of the story are a bit of a letdown too.

All in all not 1 of the best games out but a good game nonetheless. You could easily find yourself trading this for a new game later but definitely worth the punt.

The potential is there to make the sequel to this amazing.

I'm not sure about this. A few people who's opinions I trust aren't too keen on the repetitive nature of the gameplay and some of the mechanics.

I think I'm going to skip this but look for it cheap somewhere at some point in the future.

Ps3 version had two freeze ups so far. My mate has had quite a few on his 360. They happen when switching menus or saving or loading.
