what bugs do orange have?

Its all of the uk networks

But with the orange software, the phone is
More prone to crashing,
slow
I've also experianced problems with it turning the microphone off during a call for no reason

Also the fact that Nokia are on v12 of there firmware and Orange refuse to sanction any upgrade from there edited version of the original v10 firmware

v12 adds such features as AGPS, and vastly improves the camera performace, is also ment to improve battery performance


Finaly the fact that some functions (VIOP) are deliberatly disabled within the orange software

ah ok, and is there a way to upgrade it yourself?

Yes

It involves using a piece of software called NSS to change your phones product code to that of the "plum" european version

then using the official nokia software updater to obtain and install the latest official firmware patch

Nokia N95 firmware update and you will find more detailed instructions

Note doing this will invalidate any warante/insurance you may have for your phone

Well I've had it a month and it's going back, crap battery life, lasting a day with texting and a phone call or two, shambolic.
