rang o2 today, didn't bother attempting an upgrade and asked for my pac code, got asked why "well, I was in town on saturday and orange are doing 500 mins 750 texts, free memory card, 12 month contract, £30 p/m and free n95
So he came back and offered me
free n95
12 month contract
400 mins
1000 texts
3 months half price line rental
1gb memory card
£30 per month

You can update the phone using Nokia Software updater.
New Patch also includes A-GPS, which means getting a fix on your location should be a lot quicker now.
RE: Battery life, can vary depending on where you are. This is because of 3G, the further away you are from the base station, the more power 3G takes due to the way the technology works. So if you live on the edge of s 3G netowrk, you will find the battery will go down quicker. This is true for ALL phones that support 3G

I phoned up re: an upgrade, o2 offered to increase my line rental by £5 
Are they ****ing kidding me. 500mins and 500txts now for £25pm

| Initial fix position only, or during GPS tracking too?
I find the GPS updates during driving are too slow - usually the turn left occurs just as i've passed the actual road...

Anyone else got sick of the bugs induced by the crappy uk network (orange in my case) software and the networks slowness in sanctioning the lates Nokia updates and taken matters into there own hands to fool there phones into taking the upgrade
I did the other night and the phone appears to be working much better
