As for having to spend a fortune connected to GPRS/WAP etc to use GPS, well you really don't. You can download the maps to your PC from Nokia's website, then install them from your PC to the phone.
I have been reading reviews that say if you turn the GPS on then the battery only last about that time but not otherwise.

I have had mine for about 1 week now, and it seems ok.

I got it from E2Save which is part of the Carphone Warehouse and got a 3 year GPS subscription for free, it should have cost about £50, but I haven't used it yet though.

The only other thing I can't do is set-up the WLAN thing because I would like to transfer music and pics to my PC without having to connect it up with a cable or take my memory card out every 5 minutes. Have tried a few times but with no luck, so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe you can transfer files via WLAN?

You can on the N93. Surely they won't have missed this on the N95.

How do you do it on the N92, I'm sure I can't on the N91.

Yeah, the N80 has been discontinued 95% of places because it was so awful companies refused to stock them because of mass returns.

As you say, a few more have been stopped for the same reasons, despite the new firmware being freely available via nokia online.
