Because Milan play the Club World Championship this year, so lesser tournaments like the Champions League have to have some games played in advance.

milan asked for the group to be moved forward because of the world club championships.

has to be at least 48 between, at least in milan that is how it works, but then again they share the stadium, celtic and rangers have their own.

its the world club championship thing... i remembered reading somewhere about the last game changing, but couldn't remember the reason

As has already been stated, it's because of the World Club Championship.

For all those thinking it's a Celtic/Rangers thing, if that were the case, why would they have played during the same week for the other 5 CL matches?
