Good game! Risky playing 4-3-3 against a good side, but it paid off, and we looked very dangerous in the 1st half I thought. 3 unexpected changes with 2 injuries in the warm-up, and Chelsea changing their mind about letting Bertrand play at the last minute, but we coped well.
Looked dangerous from set pieces, which is unusual for us, and our 2nd goal was great.
Doncaster then came back into it though, keeping the ball well, and finding Hayter in good positions twice, and he finished well.
Dissapointing to throw away a 2 goal lead, but in the hat I suppose.

Looking back, we played really well for the first hour or so, REALLY well, I was clapping and "oooh"-ing at lots of stuff, a world away from the Northampton game 2 weeks ago. We just tired/switched off/couldn't get the ball (delete as app.) for the last half hour and that soured things a bit.
Congratulations to Harrogate Railway (who were apparently the lowest ranked team in the 1st round) with their 2-0 victory over Conference National side Droylsden.
Just got back from the game, it was pretty deserved in the end after Droylsden caused a few problems in the first half. Despite Droylsden having only won 1 league game this season so far, it was still a 3-division gap between the 2 teams.
Hopefully they'll get some good coverage on MOTD tonight, and potentially a televised game in the next round
Went to Bradford v Chester again for the 2nd time in a week.
Chester had the best away record in the country before saturday and we've now beat them 2 times in a week. Today with 10 men for 55 mins, was never a red but im not fussed i'll take harrogate in the next round then a trip to the emirates.
No one would come with me to Burnley vs Leicester so I went to Bury vs Workington. Workington set off well but fell behind to soft goal then could have conceded three in five minutes but somehow hung on and started playing some good stuff before the break. They fought back well and got a cracking equaliser with about 15mins left. Bury came back at them and the Workington keeper had a howler to gift Bury the lead. That was all it took and Bury pushed on with two more late goals.
We sat in the Workington end. The fans were brilliant.
