given who we have in central midfield now and for the future, i'm sure we'll somehow get over it.

Parker was the best midfielder on the pitch tbh

We were the better team today and were on top before the Chelsea goal. Im not sure what has happened to Carlton Cole but suddenly looks very good

It took me hours to get home as i refused to go Fulham Broadway as i thought it was gonna kick off

Draw would've been the fair result as we didn't create enough, and Wet Spam weren't too interested in anything but the point. Neither keeper did much.

First half Wet Spam spent kicking anything that moved.

i'm serious, who else do Manchester Utd have around Mikel's age who looks half as good as player as him?

Anderson the only one who springs to mind.

why does there need to be more than Anderson? Mikel not getting into our central midfield now and, unless something goes very wrong with Anderson's development, not any time in the future.

Would expect Mikel to be better than Hargreaves/Carrick in two/three years. Haven't seen enough of Anderson to comment, but from what I have seen he's much more of a 'flair' player than Obi, so they would hardly be competing for the same slot.

Like you say though, withnScholes/Hargreaves/Anderson/Carrick/Fletcher your hardly desperate for a central midfielder.

well you are naturally going to disagree as a ManU fan but Mikel is far better than Anderson and to me he looks to have everything in his game.
