I think I'll stick with the Manchester 10k, when's the Great North Run? I might be tempted to move up a level.

I could do the 10k and the GNR then next year, though I have no idea where I'll be in Sept.

Yeah, mine came through yesterday too. Dunno if I'm gonna apply for next year yet though. On the one hand, I know I'm capable of smashing last year's time in the right conditions and a reasonable amount of training, but dunno if I'm gonna have the time yet with new job starting in September.

If I apply it'll be in early October again methinks

Sent my form of yesterday topo Kolin.

Not going down the charity route though as its too much hassle tbh although they are worthy causes.

I am entered in the Dartmoor Vale marathon on Oct 21st though and i am looking at quite a few others next year. Need to get under 5 hours so i can enter a 32 miler on Dartmoor proper in June. There is also a 40 mile race up here in Cumbria in mid may. Will almost certainly do Edinburgh in late may as i have a guarnteed entry and i'd get another for a faile dlondon application. Definatly doing Windermere marathon on about may 20th and possibly one the day before too.

google london marathon in august and look for the link telling you your local shop that has the magazine. We got one as we've done the race before, possibly get one for applying to but not getting a spot.
