This is the 7 miler I plan to do on October 21st. My training plan dictates I should be in a position to run it, but to me the hilly course looks a bit of a handful. Thoughts?
| Looks like a fun course and reminds me i need to sort out my race route maps and elevations so i can stick them on the web.

| How far was the run again?
Drunk so much this weekend. My timing is so poor
Brief run tomorrow. 3 mile Tuesday, 2 mile Thursday then the race.

well done BBB, good going - you too Bagpuss, hills are fun
I did the Great Scottish Run HM today - wasn't going for a PB, was aiming for 1:45. Stayed on 8 min miles for 10 miles (though I lost a couple of mins for a slash, which I had to catch up) - lifted the pace for the last 3 miles, finishing in 1:42:42. Good fun, and nice to run through parts of Glasgow which I've not seen for ages. In fact, because I wasn't running for a PB, it made the race far more enjoyable.
