Always better when you can run for a "reason", makes you more determined.
Sent that training plan btw.
Is there alot of calories in beer?

If you get accepted via the general ballot you can do whatever the hell you want tbh.
If you run through a charity, then they might well have rules on a minimum amount. But you'd know abotu them, because you wold have apllied via said charities website.
Sure this was all explained on the last page |

would love to do the london marathon one year, but that year will not be next year. had promised myself i would keep to my attempts at beating 2hrs for the half-m for the moment. that said, i might be coerced into a full one sometime next year, prague has been mentioned...

Well done on the 10k Herman
Don't think my pacer will be out with me tomorrow so i'll have to try and beat my PB by myself. I know what ave pace to aim for so i'll probably go a bit faster to start with and then attempt to hang on in at the end.

though I could do well under that, too many people in the way. If I do it again next year I'll aim to break 50 mins, that'll be a proper challenge.

Applied again this year after my faliure to get in last year. Determined to get fit and do this, and to raise money for charity doing it would be awesome too.
