Did a check, didn't see a thread but knowing my luck there will already be one, in which case, meh.

So they question is, when does everyone put up there decorations?

My missus decided to talk me into putting them up last night.

I reckon it's a bit too early but she got her own way.

Also, decorating of the office at work begins next week, featuring lots of cotton wool snow and random tissue paper etc.

Too early in imho but yeah, 'tis te season and all.

Feel free to discuss all things Christmas, or not if you don't feel the need/are scrooge etc.

Normally after the last bday in December. My dogs is the 17th so looks like itl be the 18th. I reckon they will be put up sometime this week though.

Great things about xmas
1. Holiday pay from work
2. Getting presents
2- Giving presents
4. Dinner
5. Having an excuse for getting hammered.
6. It means new year is close...in Scotland this means biggest **** up of the year!!! This 1 will be extra special as i now can handle a 12 crate

Ours decs. go up as late a possible these days - was about the 20th last year iirc - and they were down before New Year from what i can remember.

Christmas going to be crap this year. Working ever day apart from Christmas Day itself iffs. Missing my first home game in about 8 years in the process. GTF NHS

These are usually pish, however going to see the Proclaimers this year (thurs 20th)

Nicel little 3 o'clock finsih, straight to the pub, a bite to eat, concert, the back to the pub.

Followed by a Friday of everyone hungover something rotten, this WILL be the best Christmas night out EVER.

and i'd gladly go into work on the 25th if I could - but the office is shut for the WHOLE of that week

And it's unpaid as well - unless you wanted to take that week out of the already minuscule Annual Leave entitlement
