Looking back, they could have put condensed the first three episodes into one, and then focussed a lot more on Africa (which was obviously where all the good stuff happened). Despite them making everyone bar Eve bit-players this time round (very little of Claudio for example, even when he smashes his bike), there seemed to be hardly anything about the Ewan/Charlie relationship. Not actually sure where the time was spent.
Still, the latter part was quite good. Still enjoyed it. Will get the DVD for the flatmate, book for my dad and read/watch both myself
