Really disappointed in this. Far too much moving on each day and riding and so little watchable TV.

Fair enough they are travelling by motorbike, but you have to stop more for it to be interesting. At least wit hthe long way round, they met interesting people along the way. This time they have not stopped long enough to meet anyone.

I agree with what Verbal said and also what Ewan said, they seem to be just racing through countries trying to meet dealines, get to the country and then get out as quickly as possible and it isn't making as good a show Long Way Round was.

Don't think it helped that almost everywhere they stopped today was a Roman Ruins, a bit of variety would have been nice.

I think this show has been hurt by being scheduled right after Top Gear. On Long Way Round the show was slow until they got to the Ukraine, I think that once they get out of Cairo and heading South I think it will get more exciting.

They are always mentioning the deadlines as well, which puts it in the forefront of your mind that they are trying to go too fast, not well produced or managed in that respect. I only hope the rest of Africa redeems the show.

As others have said, the African Top Gear made this seem even worst tonight, maybe the beeb got the timing wrong as well.

Have been watching episode 2 tonight. Didn't even know it was replayed, kept switching from something else I was watching to this.

Quite good episode so far.
