I saw an 8 mega pixel around £100 although you have to go through the pages as I can't remember what page it is on other than it is in the first 10.

| you just keep telling yourself that. ffs my parents are quite well off but when I was a kid if I got a games console for christmas I basically got **** all else, and rightly so too

Got uncle a mobile phone from Woolworths for £60 and got a £20 voucher for spending over £49.99 on a mobile.
£20 voucher paid for my 2 year old nephew's prezzie (some bob the builder thing that helps him speak & learn the alphabet and numbers.)

I'm not a moron ffs. It's a digital camera designed specifically for kids, see? He's been asking for a camera for a while now, he absolutely loves taking photos but mines is too expensive for him to play with and he goes through those disposable film ones much too quickly, so this was the perfect solution. Even better that the dollar continues to suck ass, as it's about £60 quid here yet just over thirty to ship it from the US. More money saved

I fail to understand how you've decided that spending even more than you thought you had on the son equals money "saved"?

Through various means I've managed to pick up more than £500 worth of presents for around £300 cash. Money saved.

My parents have always spent absolutely loads on me and my sisters every christmas all through our childhood and teenage years, and still splashes out a lot now (I'm 22, sisters 19 and 16). Mum always says she always likes to make a fuss at christmas due to having pretty sh*t christmases as a kid. She does go overboard though.
None of us have ended up as spoilt brats btw.
