The Arena, not nice. If you do the Gray Prince quest it's horribly anti-climactic. In my case the guy even ran into the tunnel and I had to kill him out of everyone's sight, then also maybe it shouldn't count as murder...
And afterwards you can fight monsters once I week, I was about level 20 when I finished the Arena so I was teh strongest and they offered me to fight 3 Minotaur Lords. Week later that's what they had too. There should be better scaling in the game, I'm very far from the endgame yet it's like I'm maxed out already.

I kill most of my arena opponents in the tunnel - doesn't matter what the crowd can or can't see. Like you said I'm not sure if it should be classed as murder since it's an arena fight but I suppose it's a way of introducing the dark brotherhood for those who wouldn't normally murder people.

er yeah, so this is pretty darn good.

Must have played it for 20+ hours now and I havn't even started the first quest for the main story.

Have got to close the gate thing though which I thought would have been part of the main story!

When do you start to earn big money? I've been playing for days (without actually getting started on the main quest), got to grand champion, done various brotherhood quests but am still finding it hard to get any real money together..

I didn't really enjoy closing the gate. Maybe it's just because it's mainly walking though killing everything with no interaction.

Can't believe there's someything like eight of them in total. I've stumbeld across another one but really can't be arsed to close it right now.

Selling stuff is what got me enough money to buy a crappy house in the waterfront region of the Imperial City and get all the furniture for it.

Mess about with mixing different ingredients and sell the potions you make and sell some of the weapons and armour you pick up along the way to make a few thousand.

Perhaps because Bethesda are selling it and not giving it away?
