yes it's amazing how they said this game had revolutionary AI. I for one never take the developers word for granted, but this is insane, it's every bit the same as Morrowind.

Something hilarious happened today. Was doing a mission for the Dark Brotherhood wher I had to kill the captain of a ship. Sneaked my way into the captain's cabin, and murdered him. Then there's a knock on the door, they say they heard noises "Captain are you OK? we're going in!"
So I run further inside the cabin and hide behind a cupboard. They open the door and right before they enter the room, weapons drawn, the two sailors 'realize' there's two of them, so they start talking to each other, some random dialogue as alway, then they forget they were going to check on the captain altogether, sheathe their swords, and walk away the 'Radiant AI' is a joke

Finally became the Arena champion under dubious circumstances.

First off I had to fight three opponents at once and was give a boar to help me by distracting one of the oppenents but it turned out the boar killed two of them so I only had to beat the main one.

Once I was champion I had to fight Agnorak who was being hyped up as really tough. However when I fought him he just stood there letting me pummel him which I thought was a bug at first. When I talked to him he asked me to kill him as he didn't want to live any more. It was a bit disappointing I couldn't do anything about it but I compiled with his wishes and struck him down making me the best there is.

When I killed him I got the message that my actions had been witnessed by forces unknown. Was expecting to get arrested when I left but luckily I'm alright.

Plus when I left the arena some kid came up to me and said he was my number one fan and asked if he could follow me round so I've agreed. Now he's following me everywhere which is pretty cool, although it remains to be seen if he's of any use.

Yeah that's what I figured. Pretty pleased I did the quest since he might have been quite hard but it was a bit of a shame to just slay him down in cold blood.

You must have done the Grey Prince's quest early on. He wants you to kill him if you have.

And the "forces unknown" is the Dark Brotherhood.

Well yeah I figured out that was why he wanted me to kill him, just thought it was a bit of a let down how I couldn't engage in any conversation with him. There was no other option but to kill him.

Where can I find the Dark Brotherhood? Getting a bit bored with the main quest so think it's time I joined some factions.

Once you've murdered osmeone and it has been witnessed by orces unknown they'll come to you in your sleep.
