I'm pretty sure that it carries over.
All multipliers you get from improving your skills after you see that level up symbol are "saved" for the level after.

Aye but what I meant was if my hand to hand (not one of my major skills) levels up 15 times before the level up sign comes up does it still carry over?

dunno mate - ive decided not to bother too much with the stupifying leveling and multipliers and just focus on the exploration and stuff

Leveling system means the game is basically the same difficulty all the way through from what I can gather, so in all reality, what's the point? For every new skill I develop, for every new spell I learn, so does almost every other enemy.

Just a quick Non-Oblivion query concerning Morrowind.

Can someone tell me just how to activate such skills as sneaking and stealing? How do these skills work? For the thieves guild I have to steal a diamond from some lady's shop, but how do I go about that if she has the diamond on her?

That's for Morrowind, just to make clear.

That's for Morrowind, just to make clear.

Can't remember the name of the city, but I know this quest I'm sure. Diamond should be in a box upstairs in her shop. Simply walk upstairs, unlock the box, and help yourself. The dozy bint and the guard should both stay downstairs, so you should be free to help yourself.

I played about 4 hours on this gaqme and still not done the first story objective .
I went to the cave opposite the swer got all the godies there, I then got arrested a few times mainly for picking locks so was offered a chance to join the thieves guilds but the woman beat me to the diary I had to steal and there was no compass telling me where she is so I gave up.

I then went to do the story quest but found this man wanted me to find his two sons who were going to fight a creature and that is where I am now, I saved it just as I saw his sons.
