ok, I went back to that dungeon that Tony keeps going on about, and have come across a zombie that keeps killing me. I suppose I've got to be doing something wrong, but what?

I thought you needed silver to kill them, in which case i'd have been f*cked. But realize that any weapon would do, although it takes a lot of wacking to get rid of them.

Best way I found to raise my alteration was to seek out unlock spells, and use them instead of lockpicks. Alchemy best improved by making potions, tons and tons of potions. I make mostly restore fatigue ones, then sell them on. Improve my skills, and earn some gold at the same time :cool:

Serps, use silver or enchanted weapons against the undead, should finish them of quickly. Fighter's Guild in Chorral should have at least one silver weapon lying around.

When i get attacked by more than one person (happened with the pirates this time at the waterfront) the game slows right down - is there anything specific i can alter that could help this?

I'm really getting into this. Went further into that dungeon and found a gem worth 1000 gold, and polished off a nasty necromancer.

Went to an inn and levelled up, but when I set off on a quick journey thing the game crashed. Uh oh!

To improve Alteration, be sure to get those Protect spells and use them before battles, too. Plus there's more spells but haven't found them yet -played for 30 hours but haven't seen even half the towns yet.

Will be going to the Sideways cave soon, didn't see it when I left the sewers but I keep hearing great things about it. Will be tough at lvl 12 though.

I got a note saying I should meet someone at midnight, I presume it is to join the guilds of thieves.
I chose to do that rather than meet the monk for my first quest but I had to walk for miles and even then I coudn't find the guy I was supposed to meet though I did see an impresive looking ship .
The game is gorgous, the scenery and the conversations people have amongst themselves.

I killed some vampire slayers on the way to where I am supposed to meet this gy at midnight in the garden though like I said not sure exactly where it is anyway the vampire slayers have vampire dust on them which you can take when you kill them worth 50 gold coins.
