Whats the max 'overall' level you can reach?

The practice on Fight Night comes in handy, if you unequip the sword it doesn't let you use your shield to block so I have to stick and move. If only there was an Ali shuffle move in Oblivion

Oh and I think I've broken the thief guilds armour they give you after it took too much damage

Once I get my armorer skills high enough to repair it will that work or once it gets to 0 is it ****ed for good?

I dropped my Arena armor back at the Bloodworks cause I couldn't carry it. Hope it doesn't disappear

And level up... I reckon at least 70. You get 7 major skills, every 10 increases you gain a level... do the math.

Did that first time of trying on my old game, weirdly enough. No-one even said a thing as I just strolled into the room and picked up what I needed. No more of a challenge than the stolen painting quest at Castle Chorral, just a case of going from point A to point B, to point C, then back to A again.

I'm using blunt and blade in an effort to boost my strength, but trying my hardest to avoid hand to hand, due to lack of a shield.

Had to go back to hunting and gathering ingredients for a living, not strong enough to raid tombs yet. Emptied the Mages Guild in Chorral of almost everything though, and the Fighters Guild too, made almost 5000 gold selling everything on. Didn't pick speechcraft as a major skill this time though, so very few people trust me enough to talk about almost anything. I absolutely hate the new system for admire/threaten, etc..... so I just settle for bribes.

In hunting a deer, wasn't watching where I was going, and stumbled into a fort. Had to run away 'cos two bears and a boar all came after me at the same time. I hate being a level 1 again

A tip for those that need a good sword; if you've done the quest of reuniting the two brothers (I think you need to do this one) then you should go to the church area in Chorral and wait for a while. An elf will approach you and give you a quest called something like "sin of the father". Follow the marker to a cave. Travel to the end (fighting pretty hard ogres in the process) and you'll get a sword called "Honorblade of Chorral".

This is the item the elf wants, but you can keep it until you find a better weapon. When I was level 6 it had a damage rating of 12. It apparently levels up with you. Oh, and it's also weightless.

There's spare Arena armour in the cupboard nest to the arenamaster.

Max levels depend on your starting skills, but from 40-60 will be the most you can get but this game is more about the perks you get for the skills rather then what level you are at.

I thought that cabinet had a red icon so they'd get mad if I get stuff from there... anyway, the raiment was on the floor where I left it. :thup:

Anyone else having problems getting good multipliers?
It seems like they changed it from Morrowind, and now once you get enough skill increases for a level up, you might as well rest... as it looks like any minor skills you increase from then on count towards the NEXT level up, not the one you already achieved.
I have all 3 Endurance skills as major skills, meaning I can hardly get good multipliers for Endurance, never more than x3.
Also having a hard time finding trainers... especifically hand to hand and mysticism right now...

What are the endurance skills again? Heavy armour, armorer and?

I think I only have heavy armour so I try and go crazy with the repair hammers to try and get multipliers for it. I'm finding security pretty easy to increase now, I only have 23 or 24 for it but I can open pretty much any lock so I go around pikcing locks just for the hell of it :cool:
