Just ordered it from play.com. From what I've seen on here and from reviews from sites like ign it seems to be a really good game. I'm just hoping it runs alright.

****ing sneak is so useless, annoyed I chose it as one of my main skills. Can't actually sneak up on anybody using because 90% of the time by the time you realise anybody/anything is nearby they've already seen you first.

There's a way to tell if someone is watching you

I know but the point is that almost all the time the other person sees you before you detect them so you rarely get the damage bonus for sneak attacks. About the only reason to sneak around is so you can see if anybody else has spotted you and not to actually be stealthy.

Five hours in, and not out of Chorral yet

I love just how big these games are. Bloody hard to make any real cash though, especially since I've decided to not break the law whenever possible. Less than three hundred gold atm

I went to Kvatch and went in to look for Martin and got my ass whupped by the imps or goblin things inside and decided I'd better wander round and do the little quests first

The music usually changes to something more atmospheric... another, slightly more cheat-y way is to press the back button (on the 360) to wait... if there is someone nearby, it tells you you cannot wait with enemies near you.

I have decided I am going to start the game again tomroow now that I understand it more and know that i dont have to collect everything i see and eadch item has a value displayed and how much it weighs etc.
In the manual it also tells you the advatnages and disadvantages when chosing your race so I will have a read of the manual at work tomroow and then decide more carefully which to choose.

Boban, regarding the sneak attack, it works great for me when I'm hunting, and I don't even have sneak as a major skill. Sneaking, plus my trusty bow has enabled me to massacre most of the woodland deer and wolves around Chorral. Sneak bonus attack means I'm downing almost every animal with one shot. Earned 200 gold in selling wolf pelts :cool:

Decided to do some minor quests before I go hunting for Martin. Hunting seems to be a decentish way to earn an honest living (still sticking to my obey the law rule).
