the folks got a tree a few weeks ago, payed €15 for it, now they have to get a new one as its pretty pathetic looking, they said they should of known for that price it would have been crap, so now they're gonna have to go and spend about €40-€50 for one later on now.

Plastic tree years ago.
Don't think a real tree would survive a week here.

Although after christmas we were walking home drunk one night and found a tree lying outside. Decided that it would be an awesome idea to take it home and prop it up outside our flatmates door. It subsequently got placed in bed with someone at about 3am when he got home.
Never did get all the needles out of the carpet |

I bought a 3ft one for the missus for 2 quid in ASDA. Ridiculous, but it works. I have an old pre-lit one for myself that I modified kind of, plus a smaller black one that is pre-lit with clear bulbs for 5 quid (2ft) from ASDA.
Parents paid £25 for basically a bigger version of mine. Still black (goth trees ftw), pre-lit and 6ft. My mothe's doing a goth christmas for me it seems, she also bought strings of black/silver tinsel for 5 quid a length .

Think it was around £50 for a 6ft fake with all decorations and such.
Had to go to Tesco for new lights last night tho' as the ones we had were all tangled and I might have lost the plot a little and broke them.

6ft one from Argos, £15 reduced from £25... looks good.
Actually all trees are on offer in Argos at the moment if anyone is still in the process of getting one.
